New writing soon!

Hi folks, just wanted to wish you all a happy new year and say thank you for your continued support of me and this blog!

It’s been a challenging first few days of this year; I was looking forward to hitting the ground running, but my grandmother passed away a few hours before the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve which, as I’m sure you can all imagine, took the wind out of my sails a bit, and that was immediately followed by a pretty bad cold and respiratory infection that I am still battling off. Thankfully it’s not COVID, but my energy is still fairly depleted at the moment.

Hopefully next week I will be back in full force and can start writing again, as there is going to be A LOT to write about and discuss! The Iowa Caucuses, the official kickoff of the presidential primary season, are just 10 days away, and there is plenty of other news and pop culture events to cover as well. Rest assured I will be back soon and look forward to engaging with you more as we enter what will undoubtedly be an important and consequential year in history.
